I purchased Abbotsbrook in July 2022 after working with the team for 6 months. I became involved with Abbotsbrook originally after my son moved there from another setting where he struggled to settle. The welcome he received was incredible and we were both hooked. When the opportunity to purchase Abbotsbrook came up I knew it was something I had to do. I have previous experience from working in another setting where I developed a love for Early Years and it's importance in the development of children.

I joined the Abbotsbrook team in October 2018.

I arrived with a wealth of experience having worked in the Early years sector for nearly 20 years. Working in day care and as a nanny.

I am qualified as a level 4 montessori teacher and enjoy sharing my montessori knowledge and practices with the Pre-School and children.

I joined Abbotsbrook team in February 2021.

I have a BA Hons in Early Childhood studies, graduating from the University of Central England. I have many years of experience in childcare working in several childcare settings including childminding after I had my own two boys. Both my boys attended Abbotsbrook, I always felt that once they started school I wanted to work at Abbotsbrook if ever a role was available.

I joined the team in January 2022. I qualified as a Nursery Nurse NNEB in 1989 and since then have worked in various different settings which include private nurseries, state schools and nannying. I worked at Claytons Combined School for 5 years and have sadly just finished 15 years at Wise Owls Montesorri Nursery, after it recently closed. I love working with children, they give so much happiness, laughter and love along with many challenges every day. It is a very rewarding role to see them develop and grow ready for the next steps of their lives. I cannot imagine life without working with children and feel really lucky to have this as a big part of my life
